Return
I've made a small return to AP. This wasn't the first site I played on, but was the site I did the majority of my grinding as I worked up the ranks a few years back. When I left AP for the SNE quest mid 2009, I let my wife have the account to play with. Well.....I've taken it back. My initial intention was to grind out some hands and build the roll there when PS games were slow. But OMFG these games are beyond soft, and I can easily see AP getting a large share of my business for a while. I don't have much money there, so I'll be working my way up the limits starting at 100nl.
Also, I fiiiiiiiiiiiiinallly got confimation today that my FTP account is setup with rakeback. I orignally was promised this by FTP back in late December, but it took until today to get it all set up. I'll probably start with a small roll over there soon and start to build up there too.
Now I just have to get hands in.

New Begining
Okay........I'm back. I stopped blogging for a few reasons, but mainly because I didn't know what I was going to do this year and my last blog was targeted on a situation I'm no longer in, which was the SNE chase.
This blog will be more of a basic generalization of what's going on with me, including personal stuff and poker stuff.......but mostly aimed at keeping up with my friends that I'm not in contact with often.
For those that followed before, you know that I dedicated my last year of work to becoming a Poker Stars Super Nova Elite player. It was a minor success. I worked twice as hard as I did the year before, and made about the same money barely breaking 6 figures. Of course there's 2 large tournaments still to come that I'll be sponsored in with a chance to pick up some more money, but for the most part I wasn't happy with the year.
So now what?
Well, I think I'm a pretty damn good 6 max player. So I just wanna get back into playing the cash games like I did in 08. The plan will be to put in some serious volume compared to a standard player, but nothing like I did last year. Probably around 70,000 to 80,000 hands per month. But the main focus will be on playing my "A game" at all times and playing every hand the best I can. My bonuses will be low this year, around $33,000 probably, but I should get back into the swing of things having $10k months again quite quickly and end up having a better year than 09 with less stress and less work.
So far I'm toying with 6 to 8 tables of 200nl 6 max on Stars, and it's going quite well, so we'll see. I'm very happy to be back studying with Dodgy and Peten again also, these 2 are the core of what made me the player I am today.
In other news. We rented our house out in Lake Havasu and have moved to Las Vegas. Well, Henderson actually, it's basically a suburb of Vegas now. We are staying with Amber and Jeromy until Feb 1st at which time we move into our new place. Not really in the position to worry about 2 mortgages, so we are going to rent a home here for now.
Set my PC up in the den and will play here for next 2 weeks, but new house has an extra bedroom so that I can have a private office. I'll also look into playing some live games every now and then, but not too much. Maybe once or twice a month I'll hit up some 3/5 NL games. Or is it 2/5? Shows how much I've played live over last 2 years.
All in all, life is good. I should work less and make more this year, so that means more time with family and friends, and I'm very excited and thankful for that.
I'll soon get this thing organized with links to everyone and other cool stuff. Thanks for stopping by.
